So, I’ve been doing some reading regarding sugars and the effects sugar has on our health.

We get “good” sugars that we find in healthy whole foods, while “bad” sugars come in highly refined, processed foods.
And, the difference between the “good” and “bad” sugars lies less in the sugars themselves but rather in how it’s eaten and how quickly they cause your blood sugar levels to rise.

We know the difference between the two. Now let us look at the effect “bad” sugars have on our overall health.

I have always had a special relationship with “bad” sugars. It was a case of how could something so wrong taste so so so good.
My biggest weakness is cupcakes. Think about it nothing beats a good cupcake!

But even though it tastes so good, I have discovered there are loads of negatives that come with that taste.
You see, these “bad” sugars that taste so good cause our glucose levels to spike and plummet. When sugar levels are unstable, it leaves us feeling Fatigued, experiencing headaches and mood swings.

The consumption of too much sugar has adverse effects on our heart health. It plays a role in weight gain as well as negatively impacting our immune systems.
