
The first step to getting healthy is to cleanse one’s body.
I have learned that the cleanse needs to happen not only physically but also mentally.
We do need to ask questions like why is food my comfort?
What triggers me, and why do I prefer wasting away instead of building myself making myself stronger?
I came across ten simple tips/guidelines to help me stay fit and healthy thought I would share them with you.
- Cleanse your body
The first step to to restoring your health and hitting that reset button is to purify your body. Your body needs detoxification to throw out the harmful toxins.
Start following a clean diet with loads of fresh fruit and vegetables, while cutting down on spices the most.
This process is going to help purify the blood steam, cut down on toxins making the body lighter and healthier and healed.
2. Exercise daily
Move your body constantly to improve your health.
Having a healthy exercise routine has the amazing power to destress you and release and frustration off your body.
A healthy exercise routine brings positive energy, healing, detoxification, and freshness into your life.
3. Maintain a healthy diet
The correct diet gives the body the nutrition it requires.
Eating right also takes care of the body’s needs and addresses the health issues better.
It’s important to avoid junk foods, soda, caffine and sugary drinks to save from the unhealthy additions to the body.
Make sure you eat enough fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, etc to help energize and optimize body function.
4. Follow healthy sleeping patterns
After a hectic day it is important to unplug and recharge your own energy.
Therefore following a healthy sleeping routine becomes pertinent.
Practice on setting up a dedicated time to go to sleep and try to get at least 8 – 10 hours of sleep and allow your body to rejuvenate and recharge.
Remember sleep restores body and health!!!!
5. Address your emotions
Instead of burying your feelings deep inside you, start listening to what your heart, body and mind tells you.
There is always underlying reasons for what you feel. If they are not addressed well, they become reasons for anxiety, stress, and depression which leads to major health issues.
Heal they body and mind from negitive emotions.
listen to music, talk to friends, write a journel, meditation, confronting people etc.
6. Yoga and meditation
Yoga is self-care, healing and everything in between.
Yoga is where we connect the mind, body and soul in one string.
Research have shown that yoga with meditation is indeed a poweful addition to health and it simplifies living and heals one from the inside out.
7. Practice gratitude
Gratitude is all about giving yourself and the people around you some positive vibes.
It is the feeling of deply been honored to receive what you already have. When you start accepting positively what you have, you start creating more things around you happy!
8. Probiotics
A healthy gut health is important, infact its the most important network of the body after the brain.
It is the gut that improves your digestive system by bringing in good bacteria.
These help build up a stong immune system, menatl and heart health and even treat a variety of allergies in the body.
Through reasearch it has been shown that probiotics contribute to losing body fat, optimizing health and even treating menatl health conditions like anxiety and depression alike!
9. Quit smoking and drinking

Smoking and drinking cause the most harm to the body bringing health, emotional and mental issues all together.
Quit smoking and drinking all together to restore your hormonal balance, immunity and body energy,
10. Drink more water

Firstly there is no alternative to water and water is detoxifying.
For the body to function at its optimal best, our body needs proper hydration.
Drinking at least 16 glasses of water daily is essential to maintain a healthy digestive tract, energy and balance.
Keep drinking water throughout the day and catch up on hydration for your body to heal naturally and flush out the toxins.
It’s a natural healer.
